Michele is a co-owner of the studio. After over 25 years working in the legal field, Michele, an avid practitioner of yoga for seven plus years, decided a more peaceful career path would allow her the opportunity to grow physically, mindfully, and spiritually. Yoga provides her with an overwhelming sense of pride for having done something for herself, and has allowed her to lead a less stressful life.
Michele completed her 200-hour teacher training at Boston Yoga School, under the instruction of Ame Wren, Caroline Pineau, Kevin Courtney, Josh Summers, and Jenn Duran, which enriched her understanding of hatha yoga, yogic philosophy and lifesytle, along with anatomy and physiology. Michele has attended many workshops and will always be a student of the practice.
Michele's teaching goal is to provide a balance between fluid movement, grace, strength, and agility, all the while connecting with the breath. She strives to create an atmosphere that is welcoming, safe, and lighthearted for yogis of all levels to decompress from the outside world.
Kerrie has always had a love of expressive movement and with the practice of yoga now moves through life with greater ease and joy. Yoga, with its endless process of self discovery, has inspired and empowered Kerrie in many ways throughout her life. Yoga inspires Kerrie both as a student and as a teacher to experience life as it happens, honoring where you are in each moment, breath by breath. Forever curious Kerrie loves being upside down - inversions showing a whole new perspective, learning from both finding balance and falling, to be open to new possibilities. In Kerrie's classes you can expect a balance of strength and grace as well as laughter.
Kerrie completed her 200 hr teacher training at Back Bay Yoga in Boston with Ame Wren and Lynne Begier. Eternally a student, Kerrie continues to take classes and workshops with many of the amazing yoga teachers that the Boston area has to offer. Kerrie is grateful to have the opportunity to share the gift of yoga so her students can cultivate it into their own practice, intelligently guided from within.
With a passion for yoga on and off the mat Kerrie leads with an open heart and an open mind.
Julia has been avidly dedicated to joyful movement play for over 20 years - beginning in college. By the time she graduated she knew her passion for movement was the path to follow. After a few years working in gyms as a personal trainer, Julia found herself enamored with yoga, and ever since Julia's work as a yoga professional has largely defined her purpose on this planet.
Julia continually infuses her yoga teaching with an impassioned knowledge of sound biomechanics, applied anatomy, functional skills, the promotion of self-efficacy, and an overall zest for playful explorations.
It is Julia's sincerest pleasure to create, develop, and share skillful - and moreover, JOYFUL - movement experiences with all her fellow yogis. Julia looks forward to practicing with YOU soon!
Carol’s yoga journey started in 2012, after a knee injury, which lead her to her local yoga studio. Not only did Carol find a form of exercise that honored the state of her body, Carol found a community that led her to realize that yoga is so much more than headstands and splits.
The lessons Carol has learned from the mat inspired her to further pursue her curiosity of yoga and enroll in yoga teacher training. In 2017 Carol received her YTT certificate from the Boston Yoga School under the direction of Ame Wren, Jenn Duran and Caroline Pineau as well as Josh Summers, Kevin Courtney, and Brenna Matthews. Carol is forever grateful for these teachers and knows that the process of learning is a lifelong and fulfilling process.
By cultivating a safe space of compassion, empathy and encouragement Carol wishes to share the joy she has found in yoga with her fellow students and celebrates the fact that just “showing up on your mat” is half the battle. Carol firmly believes in the quote from Donna Farhi: “May each breath be like a footstep bringing you back to the home of yourself.”
Sarah discovered a regular yoga practice in 2007 and fell in love with its ability to calm her mind after a demanding day. She now works to create a safe and welcoming environment where students are comfortable exploring their physical and mental capabilities – and discovering they are capable of more than they think. Through thoughtful sequencing, Sarah’s classes focus on the combination of mindful movement and connection to breath. You’ll breathe, expand, smile, release – and leave feeling relaxed, energized and renewed.
Sarah completed her 200-hour teacher training at Back Bay Yoga under the direction of Ame Wren and Lynne Begier. She is grateful for the opportunity to continue learning from the many amazing teachers in Boston and the Northshore. Forever a student, Sarah has participated in numerous workshops and has completed her pre-natal training with Bec Conant; yin yoga training with Josh Summers; the Power of Touch mentorship and Restorative Yoga training with Nicole Clark; a mentorship with Julia Tirabassi; and Radiant Child Training Levels 1-3 with Checka Antifonario.
I have been teaching for ten years after completing my 200 hr. RYT. I teach to share the magic of yoga, a gift that keeps on giving. "The more in harmony you are with the flow of your own existence the more magical life becomes." Adyashanti
My goal is to share this magic offering yoga and qi gong in a blend of gentle, flowing, mindful movement sprinkled with laughter.
Melissa is a wife, mother and dog mom who works as an oncology nurse by day and enjoys yoga and the outdoors on her time off. She has been practicing yoga on her own healing journey for the last ten years and has become fully committed to sharing her love of the practice.
Melissa's goal is to promote integrated healing through her knowledge of nursing, energetic healing through Reiki and the physical practice of yoga as a 200hr RYT. Gently guiding people towards their optimal health on and off the mat.
Known for her open-heartedness and easy laugh, Checka Antifonario (E-RYT, RCYT) is deeply committed to maintaining a welcoming and inclusive space for practice and community. In 2008, she left the corporate world to teach yoga full time and hasn't looked back since.

Sarah was introduced to yoga at a young age when her mother brought her along to yoga and meditation classes in their hometown studio in Newburyport, MA. An active runner and athlete, she has kept a daily practice over the years, diving into many different types of yoga.
Sarah completed her 200 hour Vinyasa Flow Teacher certification with Frog Lotus Yoga International in Bali, Indonesia in 2015, training and teaching alongside some of the best instructors in the world. She also completed her Childlight teacher training, and is certified to teach ages 2-18. Sarah is also OM births certified to teach expecting mothers. In 2017, Sarah ventured to Bali again to complete her 300 hour YTT with Zuna Yoga to further advance her skills and knowledge.
Traveling and teaching all over the world has allowed Sarah to be constantly inspired by nature, spirituality, and the elements, linking movement, breath and life through the graceful practice. Classes combine kirtan, mantras, mudras, pranyama, and asana… deepening the full yoga experience. Her playful, energizing classes challenge the body while still relaxing the mind. Sarah encourages growth and interconnectedness of the physical and spiritual self within her students, and incorporates accessible levels and modifications for each individual.
