STUDIO POLICIES AND ETIQUETTE

We kindly ask that you adhere to the following studio policies and etiquette so that everyone may enjoy a safe, effective, and positive class experience.

REMOVE YOUR SHOES:

Please  remove your shoes before entering the main yoga room as a way of honoring the ancient tradition of the East, and to provide a clean space in which to practice.

TALKING IN THE STUDIO:

Please keep conversations at a whisper level, as many who come to yoga are looking for stillness and time to get away from the hustle and bustle of life.  Be mindful of your words.  Embrace this quiet time.

INJURIES, PRE-EXISTING MEDICAL/PHYSICAL CONDITIONS:

For your safety, please inform your teacher of any injuries, pre-existing medical conditions, or physical limitations which you may have.

BE ON TIME:

Please be mindful of the class start time and plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early.  The first few minutes of a yoga class are dedicated to arriving on your mat, inward reflection, and connection to the breath.  When someone arrives late, it disrupts this sacred time for everyone else.

LEAVING CLASS EARLY:

If you should need to leave a class before it has ended, please inform your teacher in advance, and be respectful of others as you pack up your belongings and put your props away.

CELL PHONES:

Please put your cell phones and smart watches on "silent" at all times while in the studio.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you have pre-registered for an in-studio class and do not cancel at least two hours prior to the start of class, you will be charged for the class regardless of how it was paid for, i.e., single class rate, class pass, monthly unlimited.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:

On days when we're experiencing inclement weather, please check the schedule for class cancellations, as it will be up to the teacher's discretion.
