We will be implementing new State-mandated Protocols and Guidelines to help ensure
your health and safety as well as ours. As these protocols and guidelines change or are amended, we will update this page. Your Humble Warrior Team would like to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your continued understanding, patience, and support as we navigate through these unfamiliar times.
Please do not come to class if you are ill or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 such as a fever, a cough, sore throat, muscle pain, or if you have been diagnosed with Covid-19 within the past 14 days, or if you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for
Covid-19 within the past 14 days.
In-studio and Virtual Class Registration
Pre-registration is required for in-studio classes at least four hours prior to the start of class. Drop-ins will not be welcome at the studio at this time. Due to the protocols pertaining to class size, if you do not cancel two hours prior to the start of class for
in-studio classes, you will be charged for the class. (See our Studio Policies and Etiquette Page for our Cancellation Policy.)
Pre-registration is required for virtual classes at least one hour prior to the start of class. A Zoom link will be sent to the email that is associated with your Mindbody account 20-30 minutes prior to the start of class (check all mailboxes including spam.). If you do not receive an email at least 10 minutes prior to the start of class, please contact the studio either through email or text. It is recommended that you sign in a little early just to make sure you can hear and see the instructor properly.
Mats & Props
Under the current protocols we are no longer able to offer the use of our studio mats and props, so please bring your own mat and any props that you'd like to use during class with you.
Masks are required to enter the building and to access any of the common areas (hallways and bathrooms.) Masks must also be worn at all times in the studio, meaning before, during, and after class. All teachers will take into consideration the fact that masks must be worn throughout the class, and they will make every effort to create their classes to allow for proper breathing.
Hand Sanitizer and Disinfecting Wipes/Spray
There is a hand sanitizing station located right outside the studio's front door. Please sanitize your hands before entering the studio. You will also find three other hand sanitizing stations along with disinfecting wipes/disinfecting spray/paper towels clearly marked inside the studio.
Check-in and Class Protocols for Entering and Exiting the Studio
Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of class. If this is your first time back to the studio since we closed in March, or if you are new to the studio, you will be asked to sign a COVID-19 waiver. All teachers will greet you as you come in and ask for your name so they can check you in through Mindbody.
Mat indicators have been taped on the floor as well as directional signage in accordance with the current social distancing guidelines. Please follow all posted directional signage as you make your way to one of the mat indicators, then simply place your mat within the taped area. Once you are on your mat we'd encourage you to remain there in an effort to keep foot traffic to a bare minimum, if any at all. If you do need to leave to use the restroom, please follow the posted directional signage. Although we will make every effort before class to ensure that the restrooms are properly sanitized, our bathrooms are shared with a few other businesses in the building, so please be mindful of this fact.
Hands-on Assists or Adjustments
Our instructors will no longer be offering hands-on assists or adjustments. They will be conducting class on their mats at the front of the room, and they will remain on their mats for the duration of class.
Our HWYS staff will clean and disinfect the studio after each class. All high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs and the sign-in desk will be cleaned and disinfected with disinfecting wipes/disinfecting spray and paper towels, and the floor will be vacuumed/swept and washed after each class with disinfecting floor cleaner. Since the restrooms are shared, we will do our best to keep commonly touched surfaces, such as toilet seats, sinks, soap and paper towel dispensers, doorknobs, clean in accordance with the CDC. We will have the windows open to allow for an increase in airflow whenever possible.
We are all in this together, so let's work as a team to make the practice of yoga accessible again to all.
